Earthlines, a design practice from San Diego based creative Safi Kheshgi.

Born in Pakistan and raised in Athens, Georgia. It was his lifelong love affair with the lens of a camera that first ignited his creative spark, guiding him through the winding paths of photography and film.

In 2008, fate intertwined his path with that of Australian conceptualist Bruce Gallash. Bruce's ambitious venture, World Equity (now Respect.org), became a pivotal juncture in Safi's life.

Safi assumed the mantle of official documentarian for Bruce's groundbreaking initiative. World Equity was more than just a project; it was a beacon of hope, striving to foster global unity and understanding.

After returning from Australia, Safi landed in Los Angeles. Amidst the hustle and bustle of Hollywood, he found himself immersed in a whirlwind of creative exploration, working on a variety of film and TV productions. It was here that Safi honed his skills and expanded his creative repertoire, shaping a period of growth and exploration that laid the groundwork for his subsequent endeavors. In pursuit of his artistic aspirations, Los Angeles became the fertile ground where Safi refined his unique vision with each frame captured, ultimately leading to the exploration of the concept of Respect as The Universal Currency, shaping his perspective and fueling his desire to make a positive impact.

Amid the tumultuous times of the global pandemic, Safi made the decision to relocate to San Diego, seeking solace and connection with family amidst the uncertainty. Drawn by the magnetic pull of San Diego's unspoiled landscapes, he embarked on a journey of self-discovery, immersing himself in the rocky landscapes of eastern San Diego County. With aerial photography as his lens, Safi explored the rugged coastlines and rocky terrain, finding inspiration anew and forging deeper connections with the natural world that would breathe life into his art.

Today, Safi's creations serve as windows into the soul of our planet, offering glimpses of its boundless beauty and resilience. Earthlines, Safi's aerial design practice, stands as a testament to his unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship and positive change. Through his work, he invites viewers to join him on a journey of exploration and discovery, where every aerial design tells a story of interconnectedness and wonder.
